  1. Is this author noted as an Open Theist or what? I remember reading a book assigned to me at Bible college by him so he is not an unknown or back water theologian.

    1. Yes, Charles Finney’s discussion of taking the Bible as read concerning God’s emotions was one of the things that help lead me into Open Theism because if His emotions are legit then neither should His responses be considered anthropomorphic.
