I had to laugh with this episode (joy, not derision) as I have often said much the same as you do here. It’s not that most people aren’t dispensationalists……it’s what kind of dispensationalist are they anyway? If you acknowledge that the rules ever changed over time your are some kind of dispensatinalist and you need to just be reconciled to the fact. One of the most hysterical things I ever saw on this thing we are on now (the internet) was a recording of John McArthur declaring that he was a “leaky dispensatialist” Not sure if that squares with your Ammillennial version of not, but at least he admitted it. It seemed to be causing him some mental anguish as he had to qualify the term. It just seems he should admit to as a biblical concept and live at peace with it.
