Wonderful!
This narrative within Scripture is a SERIOUS problem for Calvinists.
They are forced into making void the clear narrative of scripture by arguing it doesn’t say what it says. And they are forced into making the God of scripture look like an evil brat.
Calvinist:
Calvin’s god does not force people to do what they do – therefore he is not responsible for what they do.
Non-Calvinist:
This is Calvinism’s “NO-FORCE” argument.
He uses a force that forces without forcing.
Good luck trying to make that look rationally coherent!
Calvin’s god drops a baby into the fire of Molech.
He didn’t FORCE the baby into the fire – he simply dropped it.
Therefore he is not responsible.
That is a sample of Calvinist ethics!
Good luck trying to make that look Biblical!
