Unanswered Questions – Did God Change in Jesus?

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Joh 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

In the Bible, when John writes that the “word became flesh” after saying the “word was God”, is that a change?

  1. The confusion arises when we mistakenly view Jesus as Almighty God rather than who is truly is, the son of God.. The title the Word merely refers to the fact that Jesus served as his Father’s spokesman.

The original Greek manuscripts read ho’ theos indicating that the Word was a god or divine one and not the Almighty God that this verse clearly says he was WITH, indicating more than one personage

John 1:18 states very clearly, that no man has seen God at any time. That is not true of Jesus, for as a human on earth he was seen.
