VOTD Isaiah 43:25

Isa 43:25 “I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; And I will not remember your sins.

  1. Forgiveness is not a favor done for the other but is needed by the forgiver as well to restore wholeness of relationship (Wesley Study Bible).

    We are in courtroom language here; so the forgiveness ought to be seen as something being stricken from the record.

    Not remembering sins is an act of choice – by men and by God.
