  1. If I have somehow become your enemy, give me a correction. He is approaching God not as a penitent sinner but as an innocent man who has been falsely accused.

    This statement may also suggest a motivation for this psalm – that the psalmist is about to go to the priest to defend himself against an unprovable accusation by submitting to a priestly ordeal.
